Mother's Day is more than a Hallmark Holiday for most. Over the last week I have been touched by all the tributes I see on social media. There are some very lucky people out there. That said, I equate this day, this year, with flowers of glass. The Mother is lovely, strong until shattered and comes in many forms. Mothers know you longer than any other person. Mothers tend to be the heart of the home. The Mother relationship can be the best or the most contentious of our lives.
For all the Mothers out there, may this day be a sweet one for you, reminding you of how important your role is in the life of your children. May you be blessed with Children who love and respect while maintaining their own independence and develop sustaining goals in life. You have done your job very well.
