Downton Serenity

Just to be perfectly clear Dear Readers, This Tea Presentation is brought to you via a dear friend from a land far away, blessed with warmer air than mine, and majestic palm trees. Just so you know.
In a recent conversation I remarked that my Downton Premier party was very lack luster this season. She, however, in her Divine Food-i-ness,, provided this little photo essay knowing that my peanut butter on Ritz crackers and a steaming cup of Lipton would just not do. Thank you ever so much dear Elmo we will live vicariously through you.   

The beautiful tray is laid, the tea, cream and sugar bowl perfectly appointed.

I want to see you up your game Corinne!! The stainless steel items are a Bodum tea pot with a big basket to let the leaves relax, and the item on the right is a timer with it's own tea thermometer. It's a shame we can't have a Downton Abbey tea time smack down.... with the Superbowl around the corner you will have to encourage this in next weeks posts :) Keep Warm!

I stand informed. My tea leaves have not been relaxed lately as you know. Perhaps by the finale of the season we can do an e-competition.

Of course being from a football town (not in the Superbowl this year, wah, wah!) my buffets and tailgate parties are infamous.

Warm? are you kidding? we are up to +5F this morning, a heat wave so to speak.
