A long-time fan of the Craftsman style, I have always admired the beauty of the William Morris designs in fabric, wallpaper and furniture. As a result, I have been collecting fabrics that mimic or have been reproduced in that genre.

This selection is representative of the style. There are so many great projects in the book that I have not decided which one to start with. I will start with something small, a pillow or wall hanging to improve my applique style. I find that I need to sort of re-train my hand when it has been a while between applique projects. I have other fabrics that I will post later.
There is a stunning quilt in the book that I would aspire to, that is a way off though. It is a masterpiece, a glorious piece of work. The author is accomplished and very creative with colors and trims to embellish the work.
