|Do you watch this series? Yowser. Being Scotch and Irish on my Mother's side, I follow closely. Why? Who knows, it's not like they talked about their heritage all that much because they were Americans! Since I don't like to be cold, The cowls, shawls and capelets worn by the ladies interest me. A quick scan of Ravelry offers several versions of the Outlander knitted pieces. Some patterns are free and some have nominal fees. However, once you determine your measurements rocket science is not required to work out a pattern. On the Joann.com site there are even pattern and cowl kits available at reasonable prices using the Lion Brand Chunky yarns.|
