The Saturday Share: A Crochet Cowl

Another Saturday has rolled around and we are looking for ideas and inspiration for our quilting, knitting and crochet. The Fiber Flux Blog is always full of great ideas. Crochet is the subject today. Recently a friend and I were talking about how difficult it is to find nice crochet patterns for garments and accessories that are not too bulky or stiff. Of course, yarn choice plays a huge roll in the finished product.

When I found this pattern I liked the lacy appearance but not the 'stiff' look. I am considering a lighter weight yarn, maybe the frogged yarn from the last knit project, the lost pattern project.  I like to use the synthetic yarns for throws, blankets etc. but not for garments. Take a look at the post for this pattern and see what you think.

This is offered as a free pattern. Be sure to check out the other posts and projects here, it is a really nice blog with items that are reasonable for all skill levels. Have a great week end!

PS: I have added a Fiber Flux Button on the right sidebar of the blog for your convenience. A little click will take you there for lots of great ideas.

and I found a video!
