My recent return to crochet Granny Squares had me mesmerized by new-to- me blogs and Pinterest boards. Lots of saturated color, interesting applications of crochet to everyday items and a sense of coziness that I haven't seen for a while. Attic 24 is one of those sites. What fun! Many of the blogs show color combinations and style reminiscent of Kaffe Fasset. Or is that just me?

I really like her ripple blanket. I scoured her site and found her instructions. Yay! I have so much yarn-scrap yarn that would be perfect for that. Thank you for finding these colorful goodies. I'm crocheting a black/gray/white afghan that is really drab.
I know, these are stunning. I found another, site with a similar esthetic that I will post about soon. It reminds me of sherbet colors, or rainbows, or ribbons displayed on a wall!
These colours, oh, I am totally in love with them. The crochet works are gorgeous! Unfortunately I can not handle the crochet or knitting needles anymore.
But I can call myself a happy quilter :>)
Cheers,
Jeanneke.
We are lucky that quilting fabric is now available in saturated colors like these. Happy Quilters indeed!
